Great provider! Lee, our guide and driver, had a great "radio voice" and delivered the most interesting information about New Orleans like a pod cast that was engaging and funny. He knew so much information about the aftermath of Hurrican Katrina, the geography, the consequences of urban planning right after it...all info that was very interesting and unique compared to the other tours I had. The ride was comfortable too ( great bus ) and so, my senior citizen parents were very happy.

We enjoyed an outstanding tour with our guide and driver, Tara. We were picked up at our hotel, and learned so much about the incredible and interesting history of NO from a well versed native of the city. The bus was comfortable and we could hear her clearly throughout the tour. Loved that she’d go off script to answer questions, and was so very knowledgeable. Got to see the highlights of the City, and we were mesmerized by her first hand accounts of Hurricane Katrina, which left us even more impressed by the resilience of the wonderful people of this captivating city. Highly recommend this tour, and highly recommend Tara as your guide.

If you’re in New Orleans (whether it’s for the 1st time or the 100th time) do yourself a favor and do a VIO City Tour (if you really want to have a great experience ask for Justin)! I’ve been to New Orleans a bunch of times, but this tour completely provided a beautiful and much needed view of all that New Orleans! The history of New Orleans is truly mind blowing, and Justin did a phenomenal job of explaining it and making it truly a fun and engaging experience!!

I booked this city and cemetery tour the night before for Christmas morning 2025 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the start, it was seamless: door-to-door pickup from my hotel, a courtesy call from the driver (Henry) just minutes before arrival, and absolutely no confusion or rushing. What made this tour special was the breadth and honesty of what we were shown. We drove through the French Quarter, where the guide shared genuinely useful recommendations—where to get the best fresh pralines, top spots for grilled oysters, and what he considered the best po’boy. Nothing felt scripted or touristy. We also passed the New Orleans Museum of Art and explored multiple neighborhoods, including areas still visibly affected by Hurricane Katrina. The guide explained how many historic homes were damaged or demolished—and how developers often swoop in, replace them, and build $5-million properties. It was sobering, informative, and respectful, not sensationalized. He pointed out the levee system and then, when we reached Lake Pontchartrain, the scale of it really hit home—it’s massive, and seeing it in person helped everything click. The tour balanced entertainment with real context about the city’s geography, history, and recovery. We made one stop where we got off to visit a Catholic cemetery (well paced, not rushed), while also driving past several others. One especially memorable moment was when the guide pointed out nearby retirement communities and explained that the waiting list for the most scenic, waterfront views can be just 3–4 months, while the waiting list to face the cemetery is 4–5 years. It was one of those quietly profound details that stays with you. Personally, I appreciated how easy the entire experience was. I use a mobility device, and there was plenty of room to store it comfortably next to me. I never felt like an afterthought. The door-to-door aspect meant I didn’t have to plan routes, transfers, or timing—I didn’t have to think

From Gail, the lady who booked the tour for us, to Justin, who was our tour guide, this tour is a must! My only mistake was waiting for the last day before we left to do it, instead of the first day we were there. They pick you up from the hotel in an air conditioned bus, and they drive you across the city telling you nonstop info along the way. So much fascinating history was shared, I only wish I had the capacity to remember it all! If you’re visiting New Orleans for the first time, you’ve gotta do this.

Our tour guide, Justin was funny, very knowledgeable and engaging. We stopped at Cafe Du Monde in the City Park for a bathroom break, coffee and beignets.

Justin was absolutely amazing! Hilarious, down-to-earth, and full of knowledge about the rich history of New Orleans. He did an incredible job guiding us through historic landmarks while driving safely and smoothly. His storytelling kept us entertained the entire time, and his warm, personable vibe made the whole experience feel comfortable and engaging. You can tell he loves what he does, and it shows in every moment. Highly recommend taking a tour with Justin—he’ll make your NOLA trip unforgettable!
